A Checklist For Sharing Unconventional Ideas

Based on this Twitter poll, 45.5% of people believe that staying quiet on controversial topics that they believe in is only "a little bad."

I was one of those people that voted "a little bad." The reason was that there are a lot of factors that go into if you should stay quiet or speak up.

Based on how popular this choice was in the poll, I believe most people agree with me. Sometimes you should be quiet even if you feel strongly. The issue we face is understanding when we should express those unconventional ideas.

Although free speech is a hot topic, the resources for understanding when to speak out against things you feel passionate about have not been documented in a proven process. That's why I created this checklist.

This FREE checklist serves as a guide for identifying when to stay quiet, and when to speak up.

It's inspired by this blog post, this interview, and many years of thinking about the topic and gathering resources. Our hope is that this will help more people to express their ideas at the right time.
